Dark brown greased vachetta leather men sandals with leather sole handmade in Italy without the use of foreign labor or child, but by experts in the best tradition of craftsmanship.
The sole is hand stitched on the insole providing a superior finish and durability than the industrial system which is simply pasted. For staining it is manual dipped in a VEGETABLE colour, manual finishing by the usage of small brushes and as final step, drying at the open air. This process takes as a result called TUFFATO, which many companies do not spend more because it requires a work of extreme precision that slows down production time.
Each shoe is made specifically for you within 48 hours of purchase and shipped Worldwide by express courier with delivery in 72/96 hours.

Well made but poor cushioning
These sandals are not recommended on concrete sidewalks since the rubber soles are hard and offer little to no cushioning. After one walk I retired them and will donate them. Shipping them back to Italy from the United States is not economical.

Dear Sirs, our sandals do not have cushioning and, in our opinion, this is the advantage of our sandals that imitate walking barefoot.
I understand that this may be uncomfortable for those who do not like this type of walking but you have simply chosen the wrong type of sandal for you.
Our target is precisely the people who are looking for a natural and non-cushioned walk.
In any case, you can return our sandals (of course unused and without traces of wear on the sole) to our warehouse in the USA without having to ship them to Italy.

I received the sandals on time and in very good condition. The color and design were as expected. I followed the recommendations on the website for foot and shoe sizes, but I am not happy with that. The leather straps are a bit small. Especially the front ones. They clamped on my foot and made it uncomfortable. Customer support suggested to wear them a few times in order to loosen them. It did not loosen the straps enough. So maybe try for normal size.

The workmanship is beautiful but the design pinches my toes. if you look at the foot of a child the big toe goes straight out forward, it does not curve in towards the second toe. I know that your design is conventional but the conventional is more about fashion than comfort.The first pair of sandals I bought from you were a size too big and so I had no trouble with pinching. Very quick delivery
I ordered Sunday evening and they were delivered to my address in UK by Tuesday afternoon. I normally buy size 42 shoes but went for the 41 sandal and the length was a perfect fit. My feet are slim so requested a narrower sole and straps and that was also a nice fit. Thanks I will buy again.
Handmade leather sandals
This sandals look great and most importantly they fit perfectly on my feet. As I have a relatively wide foot it is not easy for me to find suitable sandals, but this ones seem to be made for my feet. Secondly it is important for me, that this sandals are made of natural materials, as I want to contribute to reduce the use of plastic/synthetic materials to protect our environment. Only the shipping from Italy to Germany is very expensive.

Buongiorno, riteniamo che la scelta di applicare o meno una soletta in gomma sia da lasciare al cliente. Come tutte le scarpe di pregio con suola in cuoio è normale che siano vendute senza gomma. Scelta che supportiamo e riteniamo più eco-sostenibile.
La maggior parte dei nostri clienti preferiscono proprio il contatto diretto al suolo senza nessuna gomma.
In ogni caso sconsigliamo vivamente di utilizzarli su pavimenti umidi o bagnati per evitare un deperimento rapido della suola che con l'umidità si ammorbidisce usurandosi più velocemente.

Il prodotto è come nella foto, peccato che io non abbia capito che sotto sono senza suola e tacco di gomma. Avendo avuto un negozio di calzolaio, consiglio a chi li compra di andare e farsi mettere tacco e suola estivi (sottili) sia per tutelare la scarpa, sia per evitare brutte scivolate. Comunque con il prezzo che hanno potevano includerlo. Inoltre il sandalo era messo dentro la scatola senza dei supporti di cartone per tenere la tomaia meno piegata di come l'ho trovata. Non è grave perché poi con l'uso il cuoio si piega ma sarebbe carino ricevere delle scarpe confezionate meglio anche perché il costo on line non è certo regalato dato che sono stati eliminati tutti gli intermediari. Restano comunque da parte mia 4 stelline soprattutto perché il mio compagno usa solo questo genere e mi sono evitata lo sbattimento in giro per negozi
