Dark brown greased vachetta leather men's strappy sandals with leather sole handmade in Italy without the use foreign or child labor, but by experts in the best tradition of craftsmanship.
The sole is hand stitched on the insole providing a superior finish and durability than the industrial system which is simply pasted. For staining it is manual dipped in a VEGETABLE colour, manual finishing by the usage of small brushes and as final step, drying at the open air. This process takes as a result an handmade mens sandals called TUFFATO, which many companies do not spend more because it requires a work of extreme precision that slows down production time.

Nice sandals, just a little
Nice sandals, just a little tight at the front but the leather will stretch.
Dissapointment
Rubber used for soles are not Vibram quality. Although the shoes were the right size, they have a very narrow cut and were unconfortable to wear. Between delivery and return costs, I spent €34. - just try try them on...

We are sorry that the sandals were not comfortable for your foot.
Regarding the sole, our sandals do not use Vibram soles, so they should not be compared to Vibram construction. We use the sole materials indicated in the product description, depending on the model selected.
As for the fit, handmade leather sandals are usually designed to feel quite snug at first. This is because the leather we use is natural and not heavily chemically softened. At the beginning it may feel firmer or narrower, but with a little use it softens and adapts quickly to the shape of the foot.
If a sandal were already loose and fully comfortable from the very first try-on, the leather could stretch further after a short time and the sandal might lose its proper fit and support.
That said, every foot shape is different, and if the cut is not suitable for your foot, we understand that the sandals may not be the right model for you.

This is the second pair of sandals purchased from Artigiano del Cuoio.
Gianluca was able to make a pair of sandals I specifically requested, solely from photos I sent via email. They arrived even more beautiful than I could imagine; the quality and the fit are perfect.
I bought the first pair while at home in Bali, and Artigiani del cuoio were extremely accommodating in adding Indonesia to there shipment destinations list. The tax/duties on arrival was more than the the price of the sandals, but they were/are most definitely worth the extra cost.
This second pair I ordered while in Europe, the process from order to delivery was so easy and super-quick, I already have plans to purchase another pair before I return to Bali.

Very comfortable sandals
