A broad black strap crosses the instep of the 554X, with a separate loop for the big toe. The matching footbed keeps the look tonal, with stitching visible along its edge. This slip-on design leaves the heel and toes open.
Gianluca handcrafts the sandal in Italy using vegetable-tanned, oiled cowhide. The tuffato finish is made by dipping the leather in vegetable dye, brushing it and letting it air-dry. EU sizes 39 to 46, with a hand-sewn leather sole or a rubber sole.
