Tan greased cow leather thong flat sandals with a genuine leather sole, entirely handmade in Italy in our artisan workshop. Every pair is crafted by experienced shoemakers, without the use of foreign outsourcing or child labour, in full respect of the best Italian tradition of craftsmanship.

The sole is carefully hand-stitched to the insole, a construction that offers far greater strength, comfort and durability than common industrial methods where the sole is simply glued. For the colouring process, the sandals are manually dipped in a VEGETABLE dye and then finished by hand with small brushes. As a final step, they are left to dry naturally in the open air. This traditional process, known as “TUFFATO”, requires time, precision and great manual skill, which is why many companies no longer use it.

The result is a sandal with a rich, natural shade of tan, a soft leather that moulds to your foot with wear and a flexible sole that allows a comfortable, almost barefoot feeling while walking. Small variations in colour and texture are not defects, but a sign of authentic handmade production.
