This particular model have a double ankle strap that can be removed and give to the sandal a new look.
The sole is hand stitched on the insole providing a superior finish and durability than the industrial system which is simply pasted. All materials (leather and cuir) are from Italian tanneries.

Nice design
I did return them, because the black tint was so smelly, that I thought it might not be so healthy. Also the tint left marks all over the place.

We are sorry that you were not satisfied with the product and decided to return it.
Regarding the smell, what you noticed is not a synthetic or harmful chemical smell, but mainly the alcohol used as the natural base for the leather dye. Because we use real leather and natural colouring processes, the smell can sometimes be more noticeable at the beginning, especially with darker colours such as black.
This smell usually fades after the sandals are aired for a short time.
As for the colour transfer, natural dyed leather can release a little colour during the first uses, especially in contact with moisture, sweat or light surfaces. This normally reduces after the first period of use.
We understand that this was not the right product for you, but we would like to clarify that the smell comes from the natural dyeing process and not from poor-quality or unsafe materials.
