Buongiorno, come detto e accordato telefonicamente ho ricevuto nei tempi stabiliti il mio ordine, essendo un tipo pignolo ho notato subito qualche imperfezione ma come sappiamo il tipo di prodotto è fatto a mano ed è comprensibile, cmq si, sono molto soddisfatto sia del mio sandalo che del servizio in cui mi sono imbattuto, complimenti se avrà bisogno di qualcosa non stenterà a contattarvi! Grazie

Nice looking sandals marred by minor design flaw

The sandals look great, and overall quality of workmanship is very good for the price. The leather could have benefited from skiving or at least sanding the sharp edges before assembly as the sharp corners were uncomfortable during breaking, and I wound up smoothing a couple of the straps myself. My biggest complaint was the instalation of the buckles. The tangs were inserted through a simple round hole, making it difficult to unbuckle as the tang keeps trying to spring back into the hole under pressure. It is standard practice with buckle tangs on everything from watch bands to belts and yes also sandals, to have a slot allowing the tang to move more freely. I fixed the problem with my pocket knife, but given that this is a design flaw more than a workmanship issue I ding it 2 stars mostly on this point. Yes I fixed it easily enough, but it would have been even easier to do it right in the first place. These shoes are still a good value, now that I’ve fixed the minor problems I like them very much, but they could have so easily been excellent out of the box.

Always a crap shoot ordering shoes on the internet, I know. But let me tell you, these guys are legit. The sandals I ordered are hands down the best sandals I’ve owned, on every level. They’re beautiful, obvious from the pictures, but also fit and function absolutely perfect - which I can tell just by wearing them is the result of a craftsman with many years of experience, lots of trial and error and thoughtful consideration, a little ingenuity, and walla - a badass sandal that fits great, feels great, functions great, and will seemingly last for years and years. I just ordered a backup pair just in case they stop making them, and a pair for a friend as well. Thank you, person who made these sandals - always a joy to get the real deal, you’re awesome.
